SWAPNO is a social transfer project for ultra-poor women to be engaged in public works essential for the economic and social life of poor local communities. It promotes employment, and most importantly future employability, of extreme poor rural women. Women will within the employment tenure receive life skills and livelihoods skills training to ensure that the project serves purposes of both protection and promotion, making use of the transformative potential of social protection in reversing social exclusion and economic marginalization. The project will also contribute to developing capacity of local government in managing social safety net projects.

 

Job description::
Member of SWAPNO DFS team for E-Payment to enable digital Government to Person (G2P) payment mechanisms where participant can interaction with new mechanism, changes in money management and effects on utilizing other available services; Coordinating with service providers like Agent Banking, Mobile Money and Postal Cash Card for timely and pilferage-proof cash transfer to beneficiaries.
Integrated G2P Payment System in 4464 project Beneficiaries of 14 Upazilas, 124 Unions of 2 districts.
Active participation in the development, operational planning and implementation of M&E tools including quality reporting
Plan, develop and utilise M&E tools for RBM, including theory of change, project performance frameworks

The school feeding programme has been successful in improving primary school enrolment and attendance, reducing dropout, and alleviating micronutrient deficiencies and hunger among pre- and primary school students in rural and urban areas with high poverty rates. In 2013, WFP and the Government launched a cooked school meals initiative, providing children with a freshly prepared meal made from fortified rice and oil, protein rich pulses, vegetables and spices. Local women are recruited as paid cooks or earn income by selling vegetables from their own cultivation for the school meals in their village school.

 

Job description::
Review documents related to School Feeding and the formats, tools and database currently being used by the officials of the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) and the partner NGOs for reporting purposes;
Prepare an outline of the database to facilitate proper documentation of the monitoring findings, consolidation of information from the field and partner NGOs in preparing monthly, quarterly reports;
Discuss the outline with the relevant DPE officials, including ICT person from DPE and with WFP MIS colleagues;
Develop the database as per the outline agreed and taking into consideration of the DPE’s IT environment/platform and that it establishes necessary provision for integration of data from district to the central level;
Develop necessary instructions on use of the database to the relevant DPE officials and the partner NGOs;
